"Hello! My name is Tamika Griver. I am a first grade teacher at Shadydale Elementary. I graduated from Howard University with a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s in English. I began my career as a paraprofessional, working with pre-K through 6th grade for two years, then served as a long-term substitute and Guest Teacher. I am dedicated to education and lifelong learning. I believe building relationships with students and families is essential for a great learning environment. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and reading. This year will be fantastic as we learn together."
