Education is my passion, and I strive to help every student build confidence in themselves and in their ability to reach their goals by learning from mistakes, because we all make them. I spent seven years as a high school coach and teacher, followed by nine years as an outdoor educator. I'm now in my eighth year at the elementary level, and I love helping young learners grow every day."

Steven Williams

Mr. Williams is entering is 4th year as a 3rd grade teacher. After spending 3 years with Sheldon ISD as a reading teacher, Mr. Williams has joined the HISD team as Shadydale Elementarys 3rd grade Art of Thinking/Science of Reading teacher. His experience, calm nature, and desire to improve are all qualities that his students have come to appreciate and expect. In his off time, he enjoys running, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends. Each year, it is Mr. Williams' goal to have his students end the year as better human beings with an increased level of knowledge.
